Me > screaming > Void I had a big ol collection of cool old tech that I'd accumulated and lovingly restored over a bunch of years. Then I had to leave the island for a couple of years, so I decided to sell my stuff! Egads! I shoulda put it in storage! Now I'm back home, and I thought I'd start up the ol' hobby again only to discover that prices and availability have gone all wacky across the board! Boo! Hiss! I thought I'd start out with a small CRT tv so I could get other doodads to attach to it, like a VCR, dvd player, or the venerable Playstation 1. Ezpz, methinks to meself, people are trashing lovely CRTs all the time. To facebook market!! $200!? $600!?! Great googly moogly!!! I usually just get CRTs for nothin'! Okie dokie. I'll get an old camcorder instead and maybe I'll happen upon a CRT later. But it was the same story! Dude! So I decided I'll try to figure this puzzle out. I went to Quazar's arcade and asked if they had any small CRTs lying about that they couldn't use for their 'cades. Nada. I went over to Fan Favs to check in with the cool guy that runs it. No dice. I wandered over to the pawn shop nearby. Nope. I got in touch with Andy at Cavity, which is a rad shop btw. No leads! Holy macaroni! Now I'm lying on my couch considering my options. Maybe I'll hang out by the dump and intercept people about to throw out beautiful olden times tech (I won't actually do this it seems a bit much). Maybe I'll just lay here and haunt facebook market and usedvic. Okay, I'll deffo do this. Anyway, hang in there, fellow hobbyist. Something went weird in the old timey tech scene, but don't give up! Thanks for reading my story have a nice day!
